The Minister of Education today hosted a luncheon in Hargeisa that served as the foundation for a meeting focused on strengthening peace and unity in the Sanaag region.
The meeting was attended by traditional leaders, members of parliament, Director Generals, the Governor of Sanaag, scholars, and other national and regional officials.
The main objective of the meeting was to reinforce peace in the Sanaag region and to lay the groundwork for dialogue and compromise that would lead to unity and cooperation among local communities.
Special focus was given to the importance of security in the region, especially in the city of Ceerigaabo, the regional capital, which was described as key to development and social stability.
The luncheon concluded with mutual understanding and broad support for continuing peace dialogues in the Sanaag region.
