A meeting organized by the Security Department of the Hargeisa Local Government was held today at the hall of Maxamuud Haybe District. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen collaboration and coordination between the newly appointed police station commanders and the officials of Hargeisa Municipality.
The meeting was attended by the Second Deputy Commander of the Somaliland Police Force, the two regional police commanders of Maroodi-Jeex, the Director of Capital Security, and all police station commanders in the city.
During the meeting, discussions focused on issues related to security and the working relationship between the two institutions. The local government made commitments based on the recommendations of the police, while the police, in turn, took on their responsibilities in joint cooperation.
This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to reinforce security and improve public service delivery in the capital, Hargeisa.
