Somaliland National Electoral Commission has officially launched the starting date of voter cards distribution across the country. People who were registered in the recently concluded voter registration process and those registered in 2016 who didn’t obtain voter cards will be eligible to pick their voter cards.
Somaliland National Electoral commission has finally announced the date that the eligible voters will come and pick their voter cards across the country. The Electoral commission said that process will start with Sool, Sanaag and Sahil regions on 11th March.
During the process, People who were registered in the recently concluded voter registration process and those registered in 2016 and didn’t obtain voter cards will be eligible to pick their voter cards.
The Electoral commission is expected to send all the required equipment and the staff to the regions of the country so they should conduct the voter registration distribution process in the country very soon.
It was recently when the National Electoral commission concluded the voter registration process where thousands had participated. The parliamentary and local council elections are expected to take place on 31 May of this year.
