Somalia’s Hiraan region governor urges SNA soldiers to keep momentum in war against Al-shabaab
Somalia’s Hiraan Region Governor, Abdullahi Ahmed Maalim Sufurow, has issued a resolute call to action for the National Army, urging them to sustain their operational vigor in the ongoing battle against the Al-Shabaab.
In a demonstration of solidarity, Governor Sufurow, accompanied by Hirshabelle Transport and Aviation Minister Muse Salad Wehilye, alongside other government dignitaries, made a visit to the National Army’s frontline position to bolster the morale of the soldiers engaged in the conflict.
Governor Sufurow conveyed his unwavering faith in the National Army’s capabilities, emphasizing their pivotal role in eradicating the Alshabab threat spanning various regions of Somalia. He said, His vision is centered on the restoration of peace and stability for the Somali populace, emphasizing the significance of their collective mission.
Governor Sufurow offered unequivocal assurance of the government’s unwavering support to both National and regional forces, encompassing moral encouragement and the provision of essential equipment. This commitment is geared towards enabling these forces to effectively confront and eliminate the menacing threat posed by the militants.
However, the Governor’s visit underscores the government’s steadfast determination to enhance the readiness and capabilities of both the National and local forces. This preparation is a prelude to the imminent next phase of the campaign against the Alshabab, scheduled to commence in the forthcoming weeks.
