The Minister of Employment, Social Affairs, and Family of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Marwo Milgo Mohamed Elmi Sambalooshe, today received Mrs. Megan Lees-McCowan, the Regional Director for East and Central Africa at the African Educational Trust, now known as Street Child, at her office.

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on ways to collaborate in supporting and addressing the needs of street children, with the aim of ensuring them a better life and future. The meeting concluded with mutual understanding and notable progress.

Additionally, the Minister held another meeting today with a delegation from the World Food Programme (WFP), aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two sides. The discussions focused particularly on joint efforts to support vulnerable communities and enhance the delivery of social assistance services.
