This BRIDGE program is designed to prepare NEC members to become Accredited BRIDGE Facilitators, enhancing their expertise and capacity in electoral administration.
The training was conducted in collaboration with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of Kenya (IEBC) and the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), strengthening regional cooperation and the exchange of practical experiences.
The Commission extends its sincere gratitude to the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and the BRIDGE Secretariat, whose experts delivered in-depth knowledge and valuable professional guidance throughout the training.
NEC views this program as a strategic milestone that enhances the capacity and credibility of the institution. The knowledge and skills acquired will be directly applied to improving Somaliland’s electoral processes and democratic development. This reflects the shared commitment of NEC, local stakeholders, and international partners to promoting transparency, integrity, and public trust in the electoral system.
