The objective of this conference is to enhance the economic cooperation between the UAE and African nations, with the aim of fostering sustainable and strategic investments.
According to Somaliland’s official news agency (SOLNA), citing the official website of the event, the UAE is the primary organizer of this international forum, which will focus on topics such as finance, digital innovation, and strategic investment.
The report further noted that delegates attending the African Debate – UAE will have the opportunity to directly engage with investors and leaders from both African and Emirati markets, enabling them to gain valuable insights into the future of trade and investment between the two regions.
President Abdirahman Cirro is said to place special emphasis on Somaliland’s aspiration to gain full international recognition, while also highlighting the nation’s democratic achievements. He will also stress Somaliland’s potential role in promoting regional and global peace. The forum also underscored Somaliland’s commitment to attracting strategic investments aimed at developing its natural resources.
Key issues to be discussed at the summit include:
