Hargeisa – Sunday, 21 September 2025 – The House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland today held its 21st session of the 12th parliamentary term at the House headquarters.

The session was chaired by the Speaker of the House, Hon. Yasin Haji Mohamoud Hiir (Faratoon). During the session, the Auditor General of the Republic, Mr. Muse Yusuf Osman (Idigaa), presented a detailed report on the 2023 Final Accounts, and welcomed Ali Sheikh Mohamed Ahmed (Ali Bilyan) to provide further clarification regarding the accounts.

Furthermore, during the session, the House approved by majority vote the Amendments and Additions to the Law on the Structure of Government and Independent Commissions (Law No. 71/2024).
