The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Cabdiraxmaan Maxamed Cabdillaahi (Cirro), together with a high-level delegation on the second day of his working visit to Gabiley, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a football stadium in the city.
The stadium is planned to be a modern facility capable of hosting both national and regional football matches.
Speaking at the event, the President highlighted the vital role of sports in uniting communities, promoting public health, encouraging youth talent, and strengthening national identity and social cohesion in Somaliland.
The people of Gabiley warmly welcomed the project, describing it as a valuable investment that will benefit the youth and raise the profile and reputation of the region.
