The President of the Republic of Somaliland Oversees the Swearing-In of Newly Appointed Heads of Independent National Institutions
The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today presided over the swearing-in ceremony of officials recently appointed to lead key independent national institutions.
The constitutional oath-taking ceremony was conducted in the presence of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Adan Haji Ali Ahmed. In accordance with Article 129 of the Constitution of Somaliland, the Chief Justice administered the oath before the President.
Following the ceremony, the President delivered remarks that combined guidance and prayers. He reminded the officials that taking an oath is a solemn responsibility and urged them to fully uphold the commitment they had made.
The President highlighted that this oath is both a religious and constitutional pledge, constantly reminding them of the heavy responsibility they carry as national leaders.
He advised the newly sworn-in officials to serve with fairness, justice, integrity, and transparency, so they may leave behind a legacy of good governance and public trust.
In conclusion, the President prayed to Allah (SWT) to bless and ease their duties in serving the nation faithfully.
