The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), held an important meeting at the Somaliland Embassy in the United Arab Emirates with members of the business community and the Somaliland diaspora residing in the country.
The President expressed his gratitude for their visible contributions to the nation’s development, investment initiatives, and the positive image of Somaliland abroad.
He emphasized that the Somaliland community in the UAE plays a vital role in strengthening economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries. He noted that their active participation is key in promoting trade, enhancing public services, and contributing to nation-building efforts.
The President encouraged the business community and diaspora members to further expand their investments in the country, particularly in infrastructure, industry, and social services. He underlined that their investments are a critical pillar for the economic future of the Republic of Somaliland.
