The Director General of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Awareness today participated in a joint meeting held by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Constitutional Affairs. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the two ministries to advance a national program aimed at fostering patriotism.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Constitutional Affairs.
Also in attendance were the Director Generals of both ministries, the Editor-in-Chief of the Ministry of Information, the Deputy Director of the Awareness Department, and heads of the sub-departments of Patriotism and Media Production.
Cabdisalaan Mahmoud Ducaale, Director General of the Ministry of Information, highlighted the importance of the meeting for both ministries. He emphasized the Ministry’s full readiness to collaborate and establish a strong working relationship with the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations.
On his part, Khadar Nuux Cabdi, Director General of the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Constitutional Affairs, welcomed the initiative, stating that their ministry is actively implementing programs to promote nationalism. He further noted that the Ministry of Information is the most effective body for delivering such messages to the public.
Speeches were also delivered by Abiib Iimaan Xasan, Editor-in-Chief of the Ministry of Information; Axmed Saxardid Xirsi, Deputy Director of the Awareness Department; and Cabdirisaaq Yuusuf Jaamac, Director of the Constitution Department at the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Constitutional Affairs, all of whom echoed the importance of cooperation between the two ministries.
In conclusion, it was agreed to form a joint technical committee composed of members from both ministries, tasked with providing guidance on the most effective ways to implement their collaboration.
