General Musa expressed regret over the unfortunate incident while promising that the military will continue to protect ordinary Nigerians from potential attacks by the non-state actors.
Recall that the Defence Headquarters said on last Wednesday it has inaugurated an 8-man investigation panel into the December 3 accidental drone strike of the Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State.
The move is part of the effort to unravel key facts behind the bombing that shocked the country and the international community.
The strike, which was aimed at extremist terrorists operating in the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna, is one of Nigeria’s deadliest military accidents.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for immediate investigation while calling for caution in subsequent operations.
