Amidst speculations of an impending suspension of Hargeisa Mayor Abdikarim Ahmed Moge by certain members of the Hargeisa municipality, Ahmed Nour Guruje, a representative from Maroodijeeh elected to the House of Representatives, has advised against such action.
Emphasizing the importance of retaining Mayor Mooge, Guruje referenced past instances where beneficial leadership was disrupted by suspensions, urging municipal members to prioritize the city’s best interests.
Guruje has expressed his intention to lead a protest in the city if the municipality proceeds with the suspension, emphasizing the need to heed the community’s desires.
Also, he called upon President Muse Bihi to disregard any requests for Mayor Mooge’s suspension, highlighting the mayor’s contributions to the rapid development of the city’s infrastructure
