Through the dedicated mediation efforts of the revered traditional leaders, the rebel group voluntarily vacated the location, paving the way for tranquility in the region.
Governor Ali Abdi Abdillahi’s purposeful visit to Ga’an Libah aimed at assessing the current state of the area. He declared Ga’an Libah as stable, secure, and now open to tourists, highlighting it as one of Somaliland’s premier tourist destinations.
Officials expressed gratitude for the profound respect and acceptance shown towards the mediation initiatives facilitated by the traditional elders.
