Some of the students in Hargeisa Somaliland have started studying Swahili language as one of their future languages. The Unity University launched a course of this East African language to help Somalilanders to become multilingual.
This is one of the classes to learn Swahili language in Hargeisa. experienced trained lecturers from different countries have been recruited to help students to speak it fluently within a short time.
The Unity University which was launched last year has introduced a new class of Swahili language aimed to enhance this language in Somaliland which is widely spoken in the East African countries.
Some of the students who talked to CBA TV stated they face no difficulties in learning this language as it has similarities with their native Somali language that make for them to learn without difficulties.
There are reports revealed that around two million people speak Swahili as their first language, it is estimated between 50 and 100 million people fluently speak Swahili as a second, third and even fourth language.
